William “Bill” Brown, 91, of Mitchell, SD, died Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his home in Mitchell. Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 16, at Bittner Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery in Clark, SD at a later date.

William Paul Brown was born on September 28, 1933, in Clark, SD to Ralph and Anna Brown. Bill grew up in Clark and graduated from Clark High School. After high school, he enlisted in the US Navy and was an aircraft mechanic. Bill had a sharp mind and a natural ability for fixing and improving thins.

Bill married Rose Perricone on April 1, 1974. They made their home in Arizona, where he worked building and testing turbo chargers. Upon retirement, Bill and Rose traveled frequently. In 2021 they moved to Mitchell to be closer to family.

Grateful for sharing Bill’s life is his wife, Rose, of fifty years; his five children from a previous marriage, William Brown, Jeffrey Brown, Margaret (Don) Lake, Michael (Kay) Brown, and Ralph (Diane) Brown; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dorothy Blank and Mary Jane Hale; and brother, Glenn Ralph Brown.
