Vicky Lynn Bailey, 65, of Mitchell, SD, died Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 31, 2021, at Bittner Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.

Vicky Lynn Bailey, daughter of Raymond “Red” & Jeannine (Koehler) Brooks, was born in Mitchell, SD on June 26, 1956. She grew up in Mitchell, SD and graduated from Mitchell High School.

She was united in marriage with George Bailey on April 1, 1989, in Mitchell. Vicky was employed with the VFW for 23 years. Vicky retired in 2015 from her long-time career as a bartender.

Vicky love to spend time with family, friends, and especially with all her grandchildren. During her bartending years she enjoyed the patrons and all the friends she encountered during her years as a bartender.

She is survived by her four daughters: Rachell (Patrick) Weber, Krystal (Brian) Pospisil, Kristi (Casey) Plooster, and Colleen (Drew) Carroll all of Mitchell, SD; two sons: Todd (Penny) Bailey, Fort Worth, TX and Jay Bailey of Mitchell, SD; 14 grandchildren: Ashley, Autumn, Lisa, Jamie, Tyler, Kassady, Jordan, Brooklynn, Landen, Lillian, Kendalynn, Christopher, Finley, Kayla, and Jaedn & 11 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, George Bailey, grandson, Jackson, her parents, a brother, and several aunts & uncles.
