Ty Long, 64, of Mitchell, SD, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Funeral services are pending under the direction of Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Fly so very high Ty.

There will never be another soul like you!

Ty was the definition of “one of a kind” he spread love & made people laugh everywhere he went!

He had a treasure trove of stories about all his wild adventures.

He was a California kid who migrated to South Dakota in his teens.

Ty LOVED his family dearly.

Ty’s Love, Laughter & ability to accept everyone for who they are, will truly be missed.

See ya later our nunchuck flyin, limousine riding, Forever stylin, Son, Brother, Uncle & Friend!

I don't even know where to begin Kai was a one-of-a-kind type of guy who was always there for a friend in need and even not in need he was one of my best friends and I will treasure every moment we spent together I'm really shocked to hear this news he went too soon he had lots in life yet to do like right is two books or finishes two books I should say. I always saw him on a daily basis and we always both had stories to tell of Adventures in Life and Adventures Together you'll be greatly missed sweetie why high above those guys a day will never go by that I won't miss you I think it when you I'm thinking of you right now missing you like crazy you are a best friend a boyfriend just everything we had our special friendship that will be treasured forever I love you Ty big hugs. And to the rest of the family I can't imagine how you feel he loved his family so so much always telling stories of family and get togethers and just love them dearly and they loved him very very much his sisters his mom his dad his kids but Ty had a lot of friends he like I said he was one of a kind guy that could always make a laugh or two no matter what the situation I miss you sweetie big hugs until we see each other again no I'm thinking of you

Ill never be able to listen to Jesse's girl without thinking of your late night car concerts, the kids and I giggling because we knew you were home safe! The golf games in the back yard and you spoiling out pups with steak and hot dogs! Love Thy Neighbor! The kids and I will certainly miss you! <3 Again, sending all my love to the family! <3
