Obituary

Teresa Councillor, 68, of Mitchell, SD, died Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at her home. A celebration of life will be Monday, November 27, from 5-7:00 PM at Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Teresa Louise Councillor was born May 26, 1955, to Charles and Alma (Hamm) Brewer in Ohio.

Teresa married Stanley M. Councillor on March 1, 1989 in Hillsborough, FL. She became a stepmother to his three sons, Charles, Patrick, and Michael. They were blessed with a daughter, Lisa.

Teresa worked in various stores across the southern states. The most recent one was at Walmart in Mitchell, SD.

She met her very special friend Aaron Amussen, whom helped her fill the void left by Stanley’s passing. Aaron passed away in February of 2023.

Teresa is survived by her daughter, Lisa; grandson, Dakota; and granddaughter, Mikki Keeble (Pat Clark) and their four children.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; her parents; stepsons, Charles, Patrick, and Michael; and special friend, Aaron.

What about the COUNTLESS children she and Stanley placed up for adoption over all their years sleeping together while he was her step dad, married to her mother?!?!
