Tegan Otto Titze was born on February 22, 2009 in Mitchell, SD to Michael and Cindy (Mentele) Titze. He attended LBW, Mitchell Middle School, and was a freshman at Mitchell High School.
He was very creative and as a child enjoyed Legos, drawing, Pokémon, watching movies, playing video games, and Minecraft. In his past time, he enjoyed weightlifting, music, hanging out with his cousins, and absolutely loved his welding class at MHS. In addition, he loved his dogs Gizmoe, Oliver, Snoopy, and especially his little Crumbles and his grandma’s dog Rocky. He helped out at his grandparents’ farms and worked with his dad during the summer.
Tegan was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Faith Formation. His faith in God was the most important thing to him.
Tegan was thankful for all of his amazing friends, who made him laugh, and he enjoyed every minute with them. Tegan also enjoyed school, which can be credited to the teachers who made a positive impact on his life.
Tegan made a difference in so many people’s lives, he will be missed and was dearly loved.
Tegan is survived by his parents; brother, Hayden; sister, Laney; grandmother, Charlene Titze of Stickney; grandparents, Patrick and Lynell Mentele of Woonsocket; aunts, Sheri (Mike) Kogel of Woonsocket, Becky (Luke) Bracha of Forestburg, Anita Titze of Stickney, and Melissa (David) Daugaard of Garretson; and cousins: Ledoux and Wylie Bracha, Megan and Griffin Kogel, and Brigette, Kristene (Alec), and Lexie Daugaard.
Tegan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Titze, and his dear friend, Lillian Baker.
