Obituary

Taylor Touchet, 32, of Emery, SD, died Friday, February 4, 2022, at his residence. Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Taylor “Tee” James Touchet was born in New Iberia, La. Taylor came to South Dakota to start a new life with his family. Taylor was a loving soulmate, companion, father, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, and best friend. If you needed help, he was there. If you needed anything, you could count on him. Taylor was the type if you needed it, and he had it, you had it. If he didn’t have it, he would help you find it. He would give you his last dollar if you needed it. Taylor was never a selfish person. If you knew him, you would agree. He would never ask for anything in return. He was one of the BIGGEST Dallas Cowboys fans and supports around even though he didn’t live in Texas.

Taylor would always say he finally had the family only a man could dream of. He had a family that would never look at his past, only his future and the amazing man he was. He would always say he had the wife of his dreams and four amazing children that anyone could ever want. He would always call Myrandalyn his dream come true. Taylor always said he finally knew what it was like to be loved unconditionally. He finally had family he could count on, and didn’t want anything in return. He said after all the heartache and troubled life he had, his family now made up for all of it.

Taylor is survived by his soulmate, his Pocahontas Myrandalyn Touchet; his 4 kids, Elisha, Elijah, Emrick, and Easton; mother-in-law, Sherri Billiot-Dye; brothers-in-law, Donnie Billiot and Joshua Sonnier; and adopted brother, Johnathan (Jay) Miller.

Taylor is preceded in death by his Maw and Paw, and his brother, Ashton Ryan, Sr.

Tee you may be gone but you will never be forgotten. You touched Myrandalyn’s life in elementary school. Came back into her life where you touched the hearts of the children. By being a father to them and a husband to Myrandalyn, you touched the family’s lives. For that we will always love you and cherish the time we had with you. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.

I don’t even know where to start. You was my crush in school. You was always so worried about me. You was always my protector. We lost contact and got back in contact and here we are now years later made this family that we both always wanted but just was to nervous to start our relationship in school. We have made some great amazing memories and of course we had our ups and downs but one thing is for sure we ALWAYS made it threw it. I love you so much and I would’ve never thought I would have to miss you like I’m missing you now but lord knows I don’t even know how to go on with this life without you. You made me and our kids the happiest ppl on earth. I still can’t believe today makes a week your gone and feels like it was just yesterday. We will cherish all our memories and make your life still be alive on this earth. Our kids talk to you all the time . I know you listening and I hope you are proud of me. I hope you continue to watch over all over us. We are all so lost without you here. You touched so many lives especially this family. Our lives will never ever ever be the same without you. Just know you are loved and missed very much and I hope you having a blast up there with your brother, and grandparents. Please help me and guide me bae to where I need to be and give me the strength. Love always ur wife like you would say when I would say fiancé and our kids. 💔😘

It’s hard to believe it’s a week your gone. Seems like yesterday. You touched our hearts and lives in so many ways. You are truly missed and loved. Our lives will never be the same. II cherish our memories we made and the love you had for my daughter and grandkids. You were more like a son and I’m glad I was the mom you never had. Love you Tee.
