Taylor James Touchet
Dates
September 25, 1989 - February 4, 2022Obituary
Taylor Touchet, 32, of Emery, SD, died Friday, February 4, 2022, at his residence. Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Bittner Funeral Chapel.
Taylor “Tee” James Touchet was born in New Iberia, La. Taylor came to South Dakota to start a new life with his family. Taylor was a loving soulmate, companion, father, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, and best friend. If you needed help, he was there. If you needed anything, you could count on him. Taylor was the type if you needed it, and he had it, you had it. If he didn’t have it, he would help you find it. He would give you his last dollar if you needed it. Taylor was never a selfish person. If you knew him, you would agree. He would never ask for anything in return. He was one of the BIGGEST Dallas Cowboys fans and supports around even though he didn’t live in Texas.
Taylor would always say he finally had the family only a man could dream of. He had a family that would never look at his past, only his future and the amazing man he was. He would always say he had the wife of his dreams and four amazing children that anyone could ever want. He would always call Myrandalyn his dream come true. Taylor always said he finally knew what it was like to be loved unconditionally. He finally had family he could count on, and didn’t want anything in return. He said after all the heartache and troubled life he had, his family now made up for all of it.
Taylor is survived by his soulmate, his Pocahontas Myrandalyn Touchet; his 4 kids, Elisha, Elijah, Emrick, and Easton; mother-in-law, Sherri Billiot-Dye; brothers-in-law, Donnie Billiot and Joshua Sonnier; and adopted brother, Johnathan (Jay) Miller.
Taylor is preceded in death by his Maw and Paw, and his brother, Ashton Ryan, Sr.
Tee you may be gone but you will never be forgotten. You touched Myrandalyn’s life in elementary school. Came back into her life where you touched the hearts of the children. By being a father to them and a husband to Myrandalyn, you touched the family’s lives. For that we will always love you and cherish the time we had with you. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.
