Russ was a good friend with a ready sense of humor. Parkston won't be the same without him. He was a good source for local news. St. Peter will be laughing with him.

This news leaves me very sad. Russ was my Parkston news go to person. When I would stop to see him and Gale, it would be a long visit with more than one chuckle . One always got a true and direct opinion. I have known Russ all my life, and I will truly miss him.
