Randall “Randy” Kappenman, 75, of Mitchell, SD, died Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday, April 2, at Bittner Funeral Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell.

Randall Lee Kappenman, son of Cecil and Vivian (Miller) Kappenman, was born on July 21, 1948.

Randy graduated from Mitchell Senior High School in 1967 and Southern State College in 1970. He worked for M-C Oil in Mitchell for approximately 10 years before working for Hendrickson Trailer for 20 years and AKG for 2 years. He also worked at various other jobs along the way before retiring.

Randy married Fauna Kewley on June 8, 1974. Through the years Randy enjoyed working on his computer, collecting coins and shot glasses, and following their investments.

Randy is survived by his wife, Fauna of Mitchell; brother, Gregory of Mitchell; stepsister, Melissa Radigan of Sioux Falls; stepbrother, Tim Miller of Sioux Falls; and nieces, Sara Miller and Jorena Siegmann.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Stuart Kappenman and Darren Miller; nephew, Joe Kappenman; and stepsister, Michelle Quiring.
