Obituary

Michelle Hoffman, 66, a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 6, at Bittner Funeral Chapel with visitation starting at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest with her mother, Gwendolyn A. Hodges in Greenwood Mausoleum in Fort Worth, TX.

Michelle Elaine Hoffman was born October 14, 1957, in Pittsburgh, PA. Michelle worked in healthcare and had spent the past ten years working at Countryside Living in Mitchell, SD. She brought joy to the staff and residence she encountered over her years; she was loved by all. Michelle will be greatly missed by her family and friends; we will treasure her memories always. 

Michelle is survived by her husband, Billy Hoffman; son, Michael Torres and wife, Crista; son, Timothy Torres; brother, Guy Mulcahey; sister, Julie Herrington and husband, Glenn; sister, Wendy Burke and husband, Danny; sister, Kelly Clem and husband, John; and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Gwendolyn A. Hodges; father, Joseph T. Mulcahey; and brother, Timothy Mulcahey.

I had the privilege of working with Michelle at countryside. She was a fun sweet lady. A ball of energy, may God wrap his arms around her family. My condolences

I known Machell for over 8 years we laugh and cried together shared many stories of are kids and grandkids she loved to talk. Me Too. We were a like in many ways .She was not quiet but i will miss that voce so much and i know my life well be bad quite with out that voce and that Laugh. it's your time to REST IN HEAVEN... my shelly belly

Michelle will be greatly missed. The joy she brought to so many is indescribable. She left her mark on everyone she encountered & would do anything for anyone. She was one of a kind. Fly high with those wings, you had them the whole time. Now it's time to sore. Always remembered❤️

Michelle was a phenomenal woman. I enjoyed being a coworker and friend. Her energy, joy and generous/fun spirit will be greatly missed😢
