Obituary

Merrell Moore Fails, 81, of Mitchell, SD, passed away to rejoin eternity Friday, June 7, 2024, at Prairie View Healthcare Center in Woonsocket. Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Merrell June Moore Fails was born June 28, 1942, to Stanley and Ivy (Fuller) Moore in Wroxham, England.

Merrell is mourned by her children, Kenneth Harper of Killeen, TX, Mark Harper of Killeen, TX, and Yvette Nemec (Fails) of Mitchell; three grandchildren, Renae, Joshua, and Ace; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Ashton; siblings, Patricia Adams, Anthea Dasti, Christopher Moore, Sandra Moore, and Raymond Moore; and countless others whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

So sorry that the world has lost the bright light of my friend Merrell. I so enjoyed our visits and she always kept me on my toes. Prayers for her family.

Yvette & family, you have my sympathies. Merrell was one of my favorite people to listen to share her life wisdom.
One of the absolute sweetest people I’ve met in my life.
