Melissa Riley, 56, of Mitchell, SD, died Saturday, October 12, 2024, at her home in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Thursday, October 17, in the Bittner Funeral Chapel Community Room with a 6:30 PM prayer service. 

Melissa Kay Riley was born June 23, 1968, to Terry and Sandra (Phillips) Hoskins in Lafayette, IN. She attended High School in Lafayette, IN. She worked various jobs in Lafayette, and later moved to South Dakota.

Melissa married Randall Riley in 1993. To this union, three sons were born, Perry, Jacob, and Anthony. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Melissa is survived by her sons, Perry, Jacob, and Anthony; nine grandchildren; brother, Michael Hoskins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
