Mary Doorn, 93, of Mitchell, formerly of Emery, SD, died Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Edgewood Memory Care in Mitchell. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 6, at First Reformed Church in Mitchell with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell.

Aunt Mary was the best cook I knew. I still use some of her recipes. I have come a long way from being 5 or 6 years old and making those mud pies with LeAnn and would make in the grainery

Sending our sympathy, prayers & hugs to Kevin & Julie & all of Mary’s family. She was such a special lady & we enjoyed our get together’s with her & Lowell when we were spending our winters in Texas. RIP Mary🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
