Obituary

Marjorie Falk, 94, of White Lake, SD, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Aurora-Brule Nursing Home in White Lake. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, November 10, at United Methodist Church in White Lake with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at White Lake Cemetery.

Marjorie Jane Falk was born August 24, 1931, to Marion and Elsie (Hughes) Oltmans in Mitchell, SD. Marjorie attended Plankinton Elementary School and White Lake School.

Marjorie married John Falk on September 11, 1948, in Luverne, MN. They had five children and lived on the farm until the children graduated from high school. They remained on the farm until they moved into town, and at that time, they opened the Gambles Hardware Store. Marjorie also worked as a piano teacher, substitute teacher, and worked at the Aurora Brule Nursing Home

Marjorie is survived by children, John Larry (Barbara) Falk, Gale (Norbert Jr) Mohnen, Paul Falk, Janet Regynski, Ruth Ransom; grandchildren, Michelle (Jason) Parker, Kathy (Don) Styles, Sandy Falk (Jason Gosmire), John (Dixie) Falk, Sarah (Kevin) Impecovoen, Matt (Teresa) Mohnen, Betsey (Jacob) Wanderscheid, Nathan (Ashley) Falk, Nick (Lauren) Falk, Jeremy (Jennifer) Falk, Joshua Regynski, Duane Regynski, Debra Regynski, Jennifer (Jerry) Trompke, Patti (Ed) Schurmann, Terri (Colton) Ransom Weaver. Along with 56 great-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Falk; parents, Marion and Elsie Oltmans; grandchildren, Norbert Lee Mohnen, Karen Falk, Angela Beukelman; son-in-law, James Ransom; in-laws, Donn and Peggy Wright, Dale and Bernadette Falk.

My condolences to the family. She was my piano teacher so long ago and we picked up that conversation when visiting in the nursing home. She was so kind.

Sorry to hear about Aunt Majorie's passing. She was a true blessing. Going to miss her laugh when she we made it up there. She will truly be missed.
