Kenneth “Kenny” Weber, 74, of Dimock, SD, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, May 19, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Dimock. Kenneth L. Weber was born August 15, 1951, to Elmer and Devona (Kurtenbach) Weber in Parkston, SD. Kenny graduated from Ethan High School in 1969. After high school, Kenny served six years in the Mitchell 665 Heavy Maintenance from 1969-1975.
Kenny was united in marriage to Louise Fink on December 10, 1971. She was the love of his life, and they shared 54 years of marriage together. Together, they had three children, Bryan, Denise, and Kurt. Kenny’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he loved teasing and spending time with them. His only wish for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was that they go through life having fun and enjoying it!
Kenny worked very hard to provide for his family. Kenny farmed on the family farm from 1972-1996. He later started driving truck for petroleum carriers. Kenny drove for Harms Oil for 15 years, Flannery Oil for five years, and M.G. Oil for 15 years. He also helped his good friend, Kevin Fergen, and other farmers with their field work throughout his life.
Kenny served on the Cross Plains Township, Dimock Cheese Factory, and Sts. Peter & Paul Church and Cemetery Boards. He was a 4th Degree member of Knights of Colombus. Kenny belonged to Alvin Erpenbach #261 Legion Post. Kenny was also a part of Dimock’s “coffee crew” and gathered with his friends for coffee almost every morning.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Louise; children, Denise Graves of Mitchell and Kurt (Becca) Weber of Dimock; five grandchildren: Courtney, Taylor, Chloe, Kasen, and Clate; four great-grandchildren: Carson, Walker, Ellie, and Sylvie; and sister, Nancy Weber of Sioux Falls.
He was preceded in death by son, Bryan Weber; parents, Elmer and Devona Weber; sisters, Lee Ann Long and Brenda Sue Weber; brother, Dennis Alvin Weber; parents-in-law, Richard and Leona Fink; and brothers-in-law, Rolly Fink and Bill Long.
