While taking to Karen she said Gary had heart attack and was transferred to S.F. And when woke up he said I was at the pearly gates and Karen chimed in and they were locked. A great sense of humor and very likeable person

Bart--I was so sorry to read that your family has lost Karen. I think that I first met Karen at Farmers Union camp when we were in grade school. Then we got to Mitchell to high school and reconnected. I saw her only a few times in the last 60 years, but we always had a good conversation on those occasions. I had no idea that she was your mother-in-law! Please give her family my sympathy. Tell them to keep their memories of her close and she will live in their hearts forever. God bless you all. Love, Judy Backlund Gohl
