Obituary

Janet Osterhoff, 70, of Mitchell, SD, died Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, August 31, at Bittner Funeral Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at a later date in Webster Cemetery in Webster, SD.

Janet Rae Osterhoff was born February 16, 1953 to Raymond and Beverly (Werner) Herr in California.

Janet is survived by her son, Chris Osterhoff of Mitchell; daughter, Jennifer (James) Lechner of Lawton, OK; and grandchildren: Alex, Mackenzie, Kyle, Stephan, and Elizabeth Lechner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Osterhoff, and her parents.

I'm sad to see this, I worked with her for so many years at the hotel. She was so dependable and a nice lady. My sympathy is with you and your family.
