My dad, Ivo Weber replaced Walt as administrator of Diamond Care Center when he retired. Mom worked as a med aide for Walt for several years. Our parents remained friends for years to follow. Mom passed away in Feb at almost 97, so Janet and her led similar lives. You have our sympathies for your loss.

I met Janet and Walt at the Mitchell UMC. Such wonderful and kind people. Was in many Bible Studies with them and enjoyed learning from both of them. Thoughts and prayers are with the family and the friends at Mitchell UMC.

Oh Janet, the giggles, conversations, blackbirds, gifts shared, judgements, forgiveness, advice, trust, tears, fears, honesty, pickled herring, gossip, openness, heartfelt secrets…..I miss you already. But the memories are forever and ever. Always loved you. Always will.

I loved helping her when she came to shop at the Tumbleweed. She was always a pleasure to help. She was such a joy. She was such a giving and caring person.

We called her an angel when she was so wonderful to our mother Nadia through many health struggles and afterward when we coped with our mother’s death. Now she is a heavenly angel. No doubt she will still be helping people from heaven! Rest in Peace our dear Janet.

Once I had a conversation with Janet about the loss of her beloved husband, and son. She wisely said that you never stop missing a loved one, but somehow you learn to live with missing them. We love and miss you, Janet. So grateful for your wisdom and fantastic sense of humor. Victor Borge said that “Laughter is the closest distance between two peopleâ€
