Harold “Allan” Wilson, 69, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls with his family at his side. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, September 20, at Bittner Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell.
Harold Allan Wilson Jr. was born on October 5, 1954, to Harold Wilson Sr. and Celia (Pete) Zimmerman.
Allan was a gravel truck driver and long-haul truck driver for many years. He enjoyed his tools, 70’s classic rock, bowling, NASCAR, and attended many races with his wife, father-in-law, and son.
Allan will be deeply missed and is survived by his wife, Lorie Ann (Stevenson) of 35 years; son, Cody Lyle (Deanna); daughter, Tara Rost; honorary son, Jeremiah (Amanda) Crisel and their children, Jaxson and Dominic; honorary granddaughter, Kailee Diehm; brothers: Jeff (Merna) Wilson and their children, Brandi, Alissa, Aaron, and Eric, and their 9 grandchildren; Kevin Zimmerman; and Brad (Shannon) Zimmerman and their children, Sydney, Sarah, and Nathan; sisters: Sue (Scott) Abbas and their children, Bobbi, Lori, Donny, Chuck, Ethan, and Quinn, their 17 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter; Judy Wilson and her children, Randy and Timmy; Kim Zimmerman; Kelly Zimmerman and her children, Shawn and Haley, and her three grandchildren; and Patti Zimmerman and her children, Kendra, Brook, and Myles; and brothers-in-law, Rich Stevenson and Chuck (Pricilla) Stevenson and their children Jodi, Chris, Ben, and Mariah; grandchildren, Jaxson Crisel, Domonic Crisel, Kailee Diehm.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Wilson Sr. and Celia (Pete) Zimmerman; twin brothers, Peter and Paul; grandmother, Mae Becker; parents-in-law, Lyle and Betty Stevenson; nieces, Crystal Boyer and Elizabeth Ann Wilson; and nephew, Matthew Jon Delancy.
