Ed was a "Rock" in my life. Always supportive and gave solid advice. Our conversations sometimes were not comfortable; but the outcomes were always in my best interest. I continue in striving to be like my Uncle Ed.

As my Sunday School teacher at the Wesleyan Church, he was part of my Christian foundation. Our families past are interwoven in the History of the Wesleyan Church. With both raising the steeple on the new sanctuary in the early 1960s. I know he is in heaven joining the heavenly choir with my family.

I could never thank Ed enough for asking my Dad to church back in the 1970s. That act of courage and kindness changed the trajectory of our whole family tree. I thank God for Ed Strand and all the men like him..
