Pearl Florence Wanda David, very sorry to hear about your husband and dad’s passing. Have many fond memories of lots of softball games against Duane and his brother in laws and nephews, always competitive and always fun. He was loyal to his family and his community and that will be missed by many. I hope he hits a home run in heaven but not off me for a while yet! Rest in peace Duane!

My love, hugs & prayers to Pearl & family. Miles betweeen us didn’t allow much interaction unfortunately; but I know he was so supportive in attending Hofer (Pearl’s family) functions. Pearl & Daddy were cousins. Reading all of these heartfelt comments is heartwarming of his influence on so many people. Heaven’s gain.

Duane was my only biological uncle who I didn't get to meet until I was 40yrs old. He accepted me, no question. He is one of the kindest men I will ever know. I always got a kick out of him at HS sporting events. His stats of all his grandkids was impressive. I will miss our meals at Culver's together talking politics. A great person was gained in Heaven. Until we meet again. Love ya Uncle Duane...
