Obituary

Drew Boyden, 63, of Mitchell, SD, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell, SD. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, from 5-6:30 PM at Bittner Funeral Chapel with a 6:00 PM prayer service. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell.

Drew Kerry Boyden was born May 27, 1963, to Donald and Norma (Farris) Boyden in Mitchell, SD. He graduated from Mitchell High School. Drew worked at the Wild Golf Course for many years, Big Green, and was a radio announcer for the KORN radio group.

Drew is survived by his brother, Dr. Derek (Nancy) Boyden, and niece, Sofia

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Donald (Norma) Boyden.

As a young kid I grew up two doors down from Drew, I've known Drew my whole life. Drew was always a good guy & enjoyed talking him, he will be missed.

He was a good man. Was are neighbor for years would always come down and talk to us when we was outside. Even dropped off fireworks for are boys for 4th of July the last couple years. Was a good man and will be missed by all who knew him. Rest easy ol friend

Drew was my nephew. I always admired his courage and valued his friendship. He faithfully supported my sister (his mother) in her final days and I will forever be thankful for that.
