I worked with Deloris for many years at the Oscar Howe Art Center in Mitchell. She brought a smile to work daily. Her professionalism and accuracy in accounting was invaluable.
Although she worked in the office, if ever an extra hand was needed in any other area, she was the first to offer a helping hand. I'll always remember her wonderful stories about when she was younger and how life used to be.
One thing I know for sure is how much she loved her entire family. She was so proud of each and every one of them.
She recently texted me that she was going into
Brady Nursing home in October. True to form, she was very excited about the "new adventures" that she was going to have. She loved "LEARNING".
Joe and I send our sincerest condolences to the entire
family. I will always treasure the memory of her and am sure the your memories of her will sustain you. I am still making her famous cinnamon rolls because she shared her recipe with me!

Deanne, I am so sorry to learn that your mom has passed away. I know how much of your retirement time was spent both helping her and enjoying her company. I still think of her living across the street from me and standing at her kitchen sink in her pink robe. :) My thoughts and prayers are with you,

What a fantastic person inside and out. She was so special when I was growing up, spent every moment I could at the cabin at the lake! To all the Spry children, you were very blessed with such an incredible mother.
