Connie enjoyed golfing with her friends. In addition to golfing, Connie and Jim enjoyed traveling to visit their family, to bowl with friends, and spending their first five years of retirement wintering in Arizona.

Connie is survived by her five sons, Todd (Kim) of Sioux Falls, Terry (Michelle) of Mitchell, Tim (Anne) of Sioux City, IA, Troy (Cheryl) of Mitchell, and Ted (Mimi) of Delphi, IN; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Thank you for the love you have shown us, especially being such a supportive great—grandma to two boys you adopted and counted as your great grandchildren. You and Dad took turns attending their school concerts or Grandfriends Day. You are there for their birthday celebrations and for the emergency babysitting or pickup from school. Enjoy dancing with Jim in heaven and getting to know everyone as no one remains a stranger with you too long.

To the family, so sorry for your loss. She was a pistol. She would do Fern's hair and take extra time so it would look so nice and make Mom feel special. We always enjoyed visiting with her, she was so funny. May God's blessings be with all the family.

Thoughts and prayers to Connie’s family and many friends. She was a small but mighty human and heart of a giant. She told it like it was and always stayed committed. I’m heartbroken as she sat with our family 17 days before she passed away at a basketball game. What a blessing in disguise that turned out to be- forever a memory. Connie , I will miss seeing your squint and smile and your cute little laugh. RIP and enjoy your reunion with Jim and your parents💛
