Obituary

Brenda Wilson, 73, of Mitchell, SD, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Brenda Faye Wilson was born on November 24, 1952, to Donald and Nettie (Griffin) Sherrock in Fort Knox, Kentucky. His family then moved to Springfield, OH, where he attended Springfield High School. Brenda married Cecil Wilson Sr. on May 8, 1973. Together, they had three children: Angie Jenkins, Holly Neth, and Cecil Wilson Jr.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Cecil Wilson Sr.; children, Angie (Rodney) Jenkins of Springfield, OH, Holly (Kevin) Neth of Scotland, SD, and Cecil Wilson Jr. of Mitchell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Nettie Sherrock; Deb Klee and Jackie Becraft.

So sorry to hear about Brenda passing. Brenda and I did alot of traveling together remodeling Shopko stores. Prayers .
