Obituary

Barbara Hubbard, 73, of Spokane, WA formerly of Mitchell, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 in Spokane. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mitchell. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Barbara Ann Hubbard was born in Mitchell, SD to Doyl and Veronica (Wagner) Brech. She married Charles "Chuck" Hubbard in 1968; had their first son Rusty in 1969; moved to Spokane in 1969; and had a second son Corey in 1970. She has gone to rejoin the love of her life Chuck, her husband of 45 years before his passing.

Barbara loved seeing the country with her husband on their Harley and in the motorhome. She loved hanging out in their Hewescraft while dad enjoyed fishing. She was an avid list maker and organizer, always having to get her ducks in a row.

She worked at North Bowl, K-Mart, and many, many years at Spokane Hardware Supply, which she totally enjoyed. She sold Avon for thirty years in between.

She is survived by her two sons: Rusty (April) Hubbard of Medical Lake, WA, and Corey (Holly) Hubbard of Spokane, WA; one grandson: Joshua (Stephanie) Hubbard of Spokane, WA; two great-grandsons Karson and Mylo of Spokane, WA; and one sister: Bonnie (Joe) Brech of Mitchell, SD.
