Obituary

Andreas Unruh, 40, of Plankinton, SD, passed away suddenly Monday, December 12, 2022, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. Visitation with viewing will be Sunday, December 18, from 1-3:00 PM at Bittner Funeral Chapel in Mitchell. A formal funeral will take place in Wyoming at a later date. 

Andreas David Unruh was born July 12, 1982 to Larry Unruh Sr. and Anette Jones in Wyoming. Andreas, known as Droz to all his close friends and family, was a kind, giving individual who enjoyed life and spending time with friends and family. One of his favorite past times was teaching his daughter to fish.  His daughter was his world. He worked hard not only to become a business owner, but also published 3 novels. He will be missed dearly.

His kindness and love will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Andreas is survived by his mother, Anette Jones, daughter, Kendra Unruh, his family Becca, Bailey, and Allie, as well as all his brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Unruh.
