Nick Peters, 63, of White Lake, SD, died Friday, February 17, 2023, at his apartment in White Lake. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 25, at 5:30 PM at the Last Call in White Lake. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel
Nickolas John Peters was born on September 24, 1959 in Platte, SD to Clarence and Maggie (Deiss) Peters.
Nick attended country school at Dockendorf School through 6th grade before going to White Lake School and graduating in 1977. Following graduation, he attended Auto Body Repair School in Wyoming. Throughout his life, he had many jobs from Auto Body, to railroad, and construction. Upon his death he worked at the Coffee Cup Truck Stop near Plankinton. He loved working there, and the way he always talked about it you would have thought he was a part owner.
Nick loved to fish, golf, and have a conversation. He often had words of encouragement during those conversations.
Nick is survived by his siblings, Paulena (Joe) Hanten, Ed (Renee) Peters, Tom Peters & Christy, and Richard Peters, numerous nieces and nephews, 4 aunts, 1 uncle, and many cousins.
