Larry was always kind hesrted and very welcoming. I remember when we were in the midst of the building process at the Wesleyan church he welcomed me to park in his driveway if needed. He always said hello whenever I saw him anywhere, not just at church. So happy to know he is with our heavenly Father now.

I remember first meeting Nadine's Uncle Larry at my future father-in-law's house over dinner. Larry was chewing on a chicken bone and had a sparkle in his eye and a ready smile. It felt like he was looking inside me. It was slightly intimidating if I am completely honest. Over the years, Larry never lost that sparkle. On my infrequent visits, I looked forward to seeing Larry, either in the transmission shop with his arms in the solvent tank or at a lunch or dinner get together. I knew I could count on Larry for some good natured ribbing and sense of humor. Larry was clearly the much loved head of the clan and he graciously and lovingly accepted me into the extended family. Larry came to my rescue at one of the most difficult times in my life when we were selling a house in Mitchell. He found a buyer and brought over the family to help us empty out and clean up the place. Larry may as well have thrown me a life preserver and pulled me from a raging river, as the impact was the same. To him, it was just something you did for family. To me, it was removing a heavy burden that I don't know how I could have lifted without him. I will be grateful to Larry for the rest of my life. Larry was clearly a strong man who was strong enough to be meek and kind, and I am a better man for having known him. I am sorry for your loss.
