Obituary

Justice Larvie, 20, of Mitchell, SD, died Tuesday, February 8, 2022, in Huron. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 22, at Bittner Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Monday, at Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Justice James Larvie made his way into the world on June 11, 2001, to Heather Charging Hawk and Brian Larvie in Valentine, NE. Justice made his journey back home on February 8, 2022 due to a tragic car accident in Huron, SD.

He was the significant other of Altena “Allie” Jones, in which they had three dogs and a cat together. He loved his fur babies and Allie so much, and would do anything for all of them. They were inseparable, and you would rarely see one without the other. They recently moved to Aberdeen to better their lives and they were doing amazing. Justice was a son to Cedrick, who he looked up to as his father figure, a big brother to five siblings: Tessa, Bethani, CeTia, Samari, and Jacobi, and a younger brother to Katrina. If you asked any of his siblings, they would tell you that he was such a caring brother. He would do anything for his siblings, and always had their backs through anything. He always knew how to make someone laugh or smile when they were down, with his goofy and outgoing personality. Justice loved to watch sports. His favorite NFL team was the Green Bay Packers. You would most likely see him dribbling a basketball around town trying to find some buddies to play a game with. He loved rap music and would sometimes write lyrics of his own. Some of his favorite artists included Lil Durk, Lil Skies, and Trippie Redd. He got to experience Trippie Redd perform in Minneapolis before his passing. When he was a kid, he loved playing on his PlayStation and teaching his little brother, Samari, how to play them with him. He would even make his own sheet with cheat codes for GTA. When he wasn’t inside playing video games, he was outside playing basketball or football or riding his bike around the block. Justice was always on the go, full of energy, he was a good person, caring, and loving.

Justice is survived by both his parents; all of his siblings, Jesus and Katrina Arias (Larvie), Connor and Tessa Liddeke (Larvie), Bethani Larvie, CeTia Wright, Samari Wright, and Jacobi Wright; his stepfather, Cedrick Wright; significant other, Allie Jones; maternal grandparents, Angela Dykes and Harold Charging Hawk; paternal grandmother, Lucy Larvie; his fur babies, Ella, Husky, Pup Pup, and Blunt Man; and numerous, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Justice was preceded in death by his unborn son, Koda James Larvie; grandpa, Richard Horton Sr.; great-grandparents, Joseph and Alice Margaret Charging Hawk (Shaving Bear); great-uncle, Fenton Shaving Bear; great-aunt, Tina Dykes; aunt, Mary Rose Charging Hawk; and uncles, Sean, and Stoney Larvie.

This is not a goodbye. We will miss our talks and silly adventures. But most of all I will miss our bond. Thank you for being the best brother, son, boyfriend, friend, and family. We love you Justice James Larvie.

We are truly saddened by the loss of Justice. He hung out with our oldest a time or two. I can remember when the kid's were younger, we would see them all together, walking, to either get their summer time lunch at Longfellow or him drippling the ball, heading to the skate park or even at a softball game. He was an astounding brother to all of his siblings and seemed so nice, sweet and kind. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all of his family and friends.

I remember Justice from LB Williams Elementary. He was always kind and caring. I remember him riding his bike with Bethani to LB so she would not have to ride alone to summer school He. He would return two hours later on his bike to ride back home with her. I thought that was the best big brother ever!. I will always remember you Justice!
