Diana (Dee-Dee) Johnson, 72, of Mitchell, SD, died Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2021 at Bittner Funeral Chapel. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Diana Jean Johnson was born September 9, 1948 to Earle and Norma (Rosengrin) Stromenger in Glenwood, MN. Diana grew up in Glenwood and graduated from Glenwood High in 1966. In 1967 she attended Willmar Vo-tec. Diana worked as manager for Coborn’s.

Diana was united in marriage to Boyd Johnson in 1967. She was a military wife for 3 years.  

In her younger years, Diana loved to deer, turkey, pheasant, and duck hunt. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, baking, and reading.

Diana is survived by her husband, Boyd; children, Wayne (Kristi), Kirk, and Heather (Bill); 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce, Carol, Patricia, and Mary Kay; and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Paul and John.

I am shocked to hear about Diana's passing. Last I knew she was living inthe apartments out by Menard's. I hope she is at peace and will not be in pain. God Bless you Boyd and family.
