Feeling so sad about the loss of Jerry. My very kind cousin. We attended the same country school for a few years, before his family moved into another school area. On my very first day of school, I had an embarrassing incident and was crying. He was so loving and kind to me that day and I have never forgot his caring. He was a gaint in my eyes that day. Many good memories growing up. Wishing his family much comfort.

I only got to know him for a short while but can see why so many loved him. He was a sweet man & had a pure heart. The farmer in him sure shined through as well as his devotion to family. God's blessing & peace over each of you as you miss this wonderful man.

Jerry was a caring older brother. Growing up on a farm that included dairy cows, milk (before farm pickup) had to be delivered to local creamery. He would take some or all of his younger siblings along. We would always stop at local gas station for treats. He also took me jack rabbit hunting (of course at night) and to play basketball with friends in neighbor's barn. He was a very good older brother.

We were neighbors to the TerMeer family when my brother, Pat, and I were little. Maybe Jerry has met Pat in Heaven. Sorry for your loss.
