DeWayne offered me a job while attending DWU in the sixties and he patiently showed me his trade. We often drank coffee at Vic’s carpentry shop, spoke of hunting and fishing and settled “world problems”. I remained friends DeWayne, Carol and family over the years. Fortunately, I was able visit DeWayne last fall at his retirement home. Many, many fond memories, he will be missed. May God bless his family and friends.
