I'm sure that each of you already know what a really special person you Mother & Grandmother was, but I just wanted to share something with you. Val and my Mother, Alice were in Firesteel together (my Mom passed away 2 weeks before Val did) from the very first day my Mom arrived at Firesteel, Val worked so hard to make her feel welcome and like she had a friend there. They sat together in the dining room for their meals and as my Mom's health declined and there were days that she had difficulty feeding herself--there was Val feeding her and taking care of her. She was doing this until the very end. I think Heaven will be a better place with Val there helping everyone out. My prayers and condolences to your family.
