Darwin Roland Webb was born February 25, 1937 in Mitchell to Lawrence and Frances (Bielfelt) Webb. He grew up and attended school in Mitchell. On March 9, 1957 he married Deniece McManus at the Nazarene Church in Mitchell. In 1957 he enlisted in the US Army serving as Specialist 2nd Class stationed in Arkansas, Kentucky and Washington. In 1959 they moved to Mitchell where he worked for Plymouth, Dodge, Chrysler until they closed. He then worked at Import Motors, working for Ernie Wilson until purchasing the business with Ray Case in 1974 and operated it until retirement in 2002. He continued working on VW’s out of his home and mentored Jonathan Breon at the current Import Motors. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and playing cards with his brothers and cousins.
He is survived by his wife, Deniece, one son, Bret Webb, Mount Vernon; three daughters: Dawn Strand and fiancé Richard Moe, Letcher; Brenda (Kevin) Vlasman, Howard; Hope (Todd) Filter, Woonsocket; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one brother, Delmer (Karen) Webb, Mitchell; two sisters-in-law: Clarice Webb, Bridgewater and Iris Webb, Washington.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Larry and Lloyd.
