Rodney Bahm, 56, of Mitchell, SD, died Saturday, August 29, 2020 in Sioux Falls. A visitation will be 5-7:00 PM Friday, September 4, 2020 at Bittner Funeral Chapel. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Rodney Lee Bahm was born on August 17, 1964 in Burke, SD to Robert and Lavina (Faatz) Bahm. He graduated from Gregory High School in 1983.

Rod’s career consisted of working for America Global, Weber family, and Mj Aviation.

Some of Rod’s favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family. He was always there to lend a helping hand.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Shelia Bahm; 2 children, Mandy Bahm and Kelly (Monique) Bahm; grandchildren, Neveah, Jason, Kobe, and Michael; mother, Lavina; brother, Randy (Rochelle) Bahm; and niece, Sydney (Joshua) Fryer.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Bahm.

Lavinia, Randy and all of Rodneyโ€™s family. We are so sorry for your loss. So young and so unfair but know that God wil be with you all in your grief. He was a pretty amazing man who I am sure will be missed by so many. My deepest sympathy to his mother and son Kelly and family he sure did love you guys sending you lots of love. Im so blessed to have had the time I did with him I will always cherish the shenanigans we got in to. I hope you find comfort in knowing how proud he was of you Kelly i am grateful to have witnessed such an amazing son father and grandfather I am sure that I will never find another friend in this lifetime that could hold a candle to what he was, I know me and my boys are better humans because of our time with him.
