Noreen was one of the great influencers on my life. At church, she always showed interest in how things were going as I was growing up. When I got some of the earliest deer I tagged as a hunter at her place, her and Wally would let my childlike enthusiasm recount the tale of the hunt to them; as Noreen prepared a snack and let me warm up before heading home. These little kindnesses have played huge rolls in how I view encounters with kids growing up now. I could not appreciate her example more!

Noreen was one of the sweetest ladies we’ve ever known! She was the Bible quizzing leader for my two boys for a few years, and she really taught them the importance of knowing the Bible. She was an amazing role model and a Godly woman. We will miss you, Noreen. We thank God that He allowed us to be part of the same church body.

My time coming to their farm during the summers as a child are such special memories for me. Wally and Noreen always made me feel special and loved. I'm thankful that God placed such a special lady in my Dad's (Jim Spencer) life so many years ago! Time spent with them included daily morning devotions, chicken foot dominoes in the evening, playing with their newest litter of farm kittens, and many laughs. Heaven gained a wonderful lady. Prayers for you all during this difficult time.
