I was a client at Our Home Inc when Diana was working there. I remember her first day. She was so quiet and yet so sweet. I told myself I would protect her. I never knew why I never told her how much she means to us. We would always talk about her. Saying how sweet she is, how she makes us laugh, how we adored her son and her. Diana and her son were some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I remember on my birthday the kitchen staff forgot to make my dessert and Diana was determined to get me my dessert and sing to me again. The next day I got my dessert even tho I told her that’s it’s ok, that I didn’t want anything. But she knew I was sad already from being in there on another birthday. She cared about all of us and loved us. She was like our mom. Believe it or not but us as clients thought of her as family the first week she came. And from there on... she was like our mom... Always there for us...always. ♥️

Diana was 2 years behind me in HS and was a active member in Luther League with which we had many interactions. I haven’t seen Diana but once

since I left for the AF in 1987. I am sure she was the same, kind, caring and fun to be around. May she be at peace and that the family know she is well
and keeping a sound eye on them all. She was greeted by friends and family so we know she is in good hands!!

Diana was a fun lady to know. She was Bill's favorite cook/waitress when Overtime was open for lunch in Parkston. He did his best to talk her into working at "Our Home". When she did he was kind of sorry because he lost his good cook at the restaurant! Diana was kind and fun loving and will always be remembered.
