     Roger Lee Cudmore, 79, Wessington Springs, died Friday November 15, 2019 at  Avera Weskota Memorial Hospital Medical Center Wessington Springs, SD. 

       Visitation will be Tuesday November 19, 5:00 – 7:00 pm at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in White Lake, SD with a prayer service at 6:00 pm. The funeral service will be 10:30 am Wednesday, November 20 also at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

     Roger Lee Cudmore was born February 23, 1940 in Mitchell to Dan and Emma (Blazer) Cudmore. He was a 1958 graduate of White Lake High School. He married the love of his life Betty (Campbell) Cudmore June 9, 1962 and celebrated 57 years together. Roger enjoyed his years of truck driving and building his farming operation with his son Ken.

     Roger is survived by his wife, Betty of Wessington Springs, SD; 3 children, Sandra Christensen – Milbank, SD, Kris and (Dave) Pursell, White Lake, SD and Ken Cudmore, Wessington Springs, SD; 1 brother Dan (Glenda) Cudmore Jr., Harrisburg, SD; 5 grandchildren Emma Christensen, Forney, TX, Andrew (Tracie) Christensen, Milbank, SD, Matt Christensen, Milbank, SD, and Riley and Jaxon Pursell, White Lake, SD; 5 nephews; 3 nieces, many great nieces and nephews  and 1 great-great niece. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Dan and Emma of White Lake, SD, 2 sisters Cheri Cudmore and Elaine Hanten, 2 brothers-in-law Gary Munsen and BA Hanten and 2 nieces Danielle Cudmore and Michelle Hanten.
