Debra Tegethoff, 64, of Mitchell died Friday, October 4, 2019 at Ava House in Sioux Falls, SD.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 9, at Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Debra Jean Tegethoff was born March 8, 1955 to Harold and Jean (Rogers) Tegethoff in Mitchell, SD.  Debra grew up in Mitchell and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1973.  After high school, she moved to Deadwood, SD, and worked at the Franklin Hotel.  She later moved back to Mitchell and worked at the Holiday Inn until her health failed.  Debra loved to shop, cook, and do many crafts.

Debra is survived her life partner, Jim Roth of Mitchell; one sister, Kim (Barry) Juhnke of Parkston; two nieces, Annette (Nick) Collins and Kayla Juhnke; one nephew, Paul Juhnke; precious great-niece and great-nephew, Karson and Nora Collins; and stepmother, Virginia Tegethoff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Jean Tegethoff.

Went to high school with Deb. Until I watched the video and saw her Senior picture didn't put the name to the face. A very nice gal, always a smile on her face and always nice to all! Sure she will be missed by her friends and family.

So sorry to hear of Debs passing. I met Deb as a nurse, she was always so cheerful, had a positive attitude and much love to share. She will be missed, always remembered. Blessings and prayers to her family.

Debbie was one of the first people I met when I moved to Mitchell. Always smiling and always had something funny to say. Beautiful lady! inside and out. RIP Debbie

I still can't believe she's gone. We said goodbye just a few weeks ago believing that better days were ahead. Amazing how she could always smile in spite of her pain. What a beautiful lady.

Beautiful video so sorry to hear of the passing of Debbie, we hung out together in high school and had some fun times, later we worked together at the Holiday , my mother also worked with Debbie there, our prayers are with you.
