Betty was a force to reckon with. She was kind, intelligent, hard working and reliable. Her positive attitude made every day special, no matter the obstacles. Never one to remain idle, she found things to do to make my job more efficient. The Oscar Howe Art Center and its patrons were blessed to have her. Betty was a fine human being and a blessing to humanity.

Robin and family-
I was so sad to hear this announcement on the radio yesterday. Your mom was such a special lady and I so enjoyed getting to work with her when I was working at Good Sam. I remember so many things about her that will always make me smile, but some that stick out in my head are dancing with her during the musical programs, watching her take care of her "babies", and her pointing at me and calling me a little heifer when I was walking down the hallway towards her. If she set her mind to doing something, she would sure speed along in that wheelchair faster than most could walk I think! She was always guaranteed to give me a hug whenever I asked for one and usually a kiss on the cheek too! I know that it's hard to find and listen to words of comfort in this time of sorrow, but just remember that you are blessed to have the time that you did, and just think of who she gets to spend eternity in heaven with! My love to you and your family in this difficult time!
