Anthony “Tony” Lynn Zabriskie was born July 23, 1984 at Mt. Home, ID to Kenneth and Angela (Tuttle) Zabriskie. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 2003. Tony was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Christ was a big part of Tony’s life. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Tony loved to make people laugh and always thought of others first.
Tony is survived by his parents: Angela (Scott) Petersen, Mitchell, SD, and Kenneth (Jennifer) Zabriskie, Lehi, ID; three sisters: Amanda Hiles, Mitchell, SD, Taryn (Fred) Flanagan, Mitchell, SD, and Hannah Zabriskie, Lehi, UT; four brothers: Connor Zabriskie, Samuel Zabriskie, both of Lehi, UT, Jeremy (Andi), and Ryan (Gretchen) Petersen, all of Sioux Falls, SD; grandparents: Juanita and Merle Stone, Wagner, SD, Chuck and Deanna Tuttle, Nelson, NE, Dallas and Gert Petersen, Flandreau, SD, and Evelyn Zabriskie-Howard, Logan, UT; godparents, Jeri and Eldon Carda, Sioux Falls, SD; aunts and uncles, Leigh Anne (Scott) Larson, Mitchell, SD, John (Ranee) Tuttle, Port Arthur, TX, Becky Stuart, Nibley, UT, Cheryl (Collin) Barfus, Hyrum, UT, Shawn (Joy) Petersen, Everley, IA; two nephews; five nieces.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Douglas Zabriskie; two uncles, Jeffery and Bruce Zabriskie; and one aunt, Linda Williamson.
