I am sorry to hear of Paul's passing. It was always a pleasure to visit with him at various band functions we would both happen to be at. He will be missed.

I think my aunt Sr. Joyce Burke taught with your mom at St Mary's in SF. My mom always enjoyed talking to your folks when they crossed paths in Mitchell. Being in the Hanson Hs band in the 80 we were always part of the DWU competition. It was always fun to watch your Dad keep organized and rolling. My sympathy to you and your family. MaryAnn and Paul together in heaven sharing their artistic talents with a whole new audience

We enjoyed knowing your parents during our days at DWU
I'll never forget your dad fighting the wind to conduct the bands at a football game while trying to keep his hair in 'place'
Great memories - please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

Paul was my band director and mentor while at DWU from 61-65. I learned so much from him and enjoyed picking his brain about things that troubled me in my musical career. He will be missed.

I taught band in NE South Dakota for 34 years and had the privilege of having Paul work with my band on several occasions. I appreciated his professionalism and always enjoyed our visits whenever our paths crossed. He was a gentleman and a scholar. God bless his memory..

Alyson, your amazing father was one of my favorite professors during my time at Wesleyan in the 70's. What a sense of humor, and absolutely brilliant! Our thoughts are with you.
