You have our sympathy in the death of your mother, and sister. May the Memories you have of your life with her bring you Comfort all these days. Betcha "Ed" was there to greet her at heavens door. Prayers of Comfort for the entire family in 'Mertz' death.

I neglected to mention that Mert was also a life member of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States Auxiliary. Donavon and Ed were also members of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States.

We are from Yankton, SD; Donavon & Ed Stotz were members of the South Dakota National Guard and also the SD National Guard Enlisted Association, they became good friend through these organizations; the wives belonged to the Enlisted Association Auxiliary and we became friends with Mert through that also. Mert was a life member of the SD National Guard Enlisted Association Auxiliary. Our sympathy and prayers are with you on the death of your mother, she was a fun lady to know.

We were friends of your parents back in the 60's. I worked with Darrel Hanson at NWPS and that is how we knew your parents. You have our sympathy on your loss.
