Donnie Ray Kuder was born on November 26, 1936 in Afton, OK.  He was the son of Charles and Nola (Hagebusch) Kuder.  Donnie graduated from Vinita High School in Vinita, OK.

He was united in marriage with Linda Fessler in May 1959.  He was then drafted into the United States Army later that year.  In 1962, Donnie was honorably discharged and returned to Mitchell.  He worked for Goodyear Tires from 1962 to 1978.  He later began his own auto parts distribution service called DK Auto Supply.  He officially retired from his business in 1998.  After taking a few months off, he spent the next four years driving for Crockett School Bus Service.

Donnie was a member of the American Legion.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing and camping.  He also enjoyed golfing, gardening, woodworking, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends and his beloved pets.  He was a faithful fan of the Mitchell Kernels and the Glenwood Rams basketball teams.  He was a jack of all trades, and could build or fix anything he put his mind to.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Linda Kuder;  daughter, Pamela (Curt) Schulte of Glenwood, IA;  three grandchildren: Peytan, Jordyn and Nathan;  two brothers: Lloyd (Katherine) Kuder of Pueblo, CO and Eldon (Kathy) Kuder of Woodbury, MN; three sisters: Maudene Hohbach, Carolyn Damon, and Charlene (Chuck) Reinhart, all of Mitchell, SD;  and numerous nieces and nephews.
